Our Vision

John 3:27 states, “A man can receive nothing except it be given him from heaven.”  Proverbs 29:18 states, “Where there is no VISION, the people perish….”  The VISION from heaven to the New Life Church was given from John 4.  As a church, we are directed to yield to:

 

I.  The Mindset of Must (John 4:4)

The mind of Christ is our mind (Philippians 2:5, Romans 12:2); therefore, the mission/ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ will be continued through us, because of our obedience to His Command.  Therefore, we shall not compromise.  (Luke 2:49, Luke 4:43, Luke 9:22, Luke 19:5, and John 9:4).

 

II. The Movement of the Malignant (John 4:9-24)

As vessels of honor, sanctified and meet for the Master’s use, we are led of His Spirit to bring deliverance to lives that are held captive by issues of ethnicity, immorality and denominationalism, which hinder many from receiving Jesus.

 

III. The Manifestation of the Multitude Meeting the Master

(John 4:28, 30, 39-42)

As we follow the instructions of the Lord, we are seeing many people coming to Jesus and growing in the righteousness of God.  The word of God through us will have Influence (v.39) upon the multitude, will stir an Invitation (v.40) from the multitude, an Increase (v.41) in the multitude and provide Individual Insight (v.42) within the  multitude.

As we walk this VISION out, step by step, the power of God is being displayed and demonstrated on a daily basis.  For our individual lives, our families, our church, our fellowship with our Bishop (Covenant Connection International—CCI), our fellowship (Miletus Covenant Connection-MCC), our city, county, state and the nations, we believe John 4 and Habakkuk 2:2-3, “…..Write the Vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.  For the VISION is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie; though it tarry, wait for it, because  IT WILL SURELY COME, it will not tarry”!
